Emily is a curious, strategic problem solver based in Minneapolis. She is passionate about designing information systems that help people achieve their goals and improve their lives. Before discovering information architecture, she worked in public libraries and adult education. Emily is an AmeriCorps alumna, and she holds a Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She currently works as an information architect at The Understanding Group, where she specializes in digital strategy, user research, and content strategy.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Emily watching the latest season of the Great British Baking Show, spending time on the lake, taking her dog on long walks, or devouring a good novel.
