For more than 20 years the IA conference has been the preeminent event for practitioners and academics who confront the systemic challenge of creating and managing digital user interfaces and rich information environments. A dedicated team of volunteers from the IA community along with Kunverj produce the conference each year.
Vision and Values
What we believe in and why
What will the virtual IAC experience be like?
A conference pass to this year’s IAC gives you a 3-day, live-broadcast featuring talks, keynotes, and live Q&A sessions. In addition:
- Live broadcast and small-group discussions
- Exclusive IAC Discord server for backchannel discussions and off-hour conversations
- On-demand video library featuring pre-recorded talks. Registration includes one year of access to the IAC video library.
There are opportunities to have fun on Game Night, to relax in our digital lounge with other people, and of course, to network. That is all for you, the participant, but also think of all the new lenses and insights you can take back to your work community the next week.
Tickets to workshops are sold separately.
Why Should I Attend IAC?
If you want to learn from the brightest people from the field, and want to connect with others who get excited about the art and science of organizing information and any of its meandering branches, this is the place for you.
Who runs IAC?
IAC is organized by a group of co-chairs and volunteers who work hard all year to plan and curate a valuable and inclusive experience for all attendees.
The conference is also managed by Kunverj, an events company that also hosts EuroIA.
Code of Conduct
IAC is committed to a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. Review our code of conduct to ensure that everyone feels included and respected.
