IAC26 Design Jam

IAC26 is excited to host our second annual Design Jam!

This year, we are partnering with Philly’s Social Justice Hackathon to give IAC attendees a fun challenge that also gives back to Philadelphia. The first and/or second place projects that win the Social Justice Hackathon on March 29 will be brought to IAC for our attendees to dive into the design and strategy for these projects.

Local liaison Jaimie Yakaboski will lead the session with a variety of different problem solving and design thinking activities! Please make sure to sign up if you’d like to participate in this year’s Design Jam!

Students, programmers, “civic-minded hackers”, faculty, justice advocates, public servants, community legal providers, writers, story-tellers, and members of the Philly community will all come together to design creative solutions to respond to specific justice needs of residents and neighborhoods most impacted by social, economic, and environmental injustices in Philadelphia.

Together, attendees will work on technology solutions to respond to specific justice needs of residents and neighborhoods most impacted by social, economic, and environmental injustices in Philadelphia.
