IAC24 Lightning talks
Description
Among all that is new on the horizon, there is a constant: in the field of IA, acquiring new domain knowledge quickly and effectively is something we have to do continuously all the time.
An IA problem is never just about the information architecture itself. Building a taxonomy requires gaining domain knowledge and learning the language of participating teams. Designing an information management workflow requires understanding the specialized domain and business needs the system supports. More and more, we are called to work with new teams and solve problems situated in new contexts.
You’ve got 12 weeks to ideate on solutions and create deliverables. How do you learn quickly?
