Description
We’ve all seen the cute dog with the fire raging all around, proclaiming “this is fine” when things are anything but. We’ve often *been* that cute dog: stuck in situations that are a bit out of hand but that we have no choice but to get through.
When things feel like they’re being enveloped in flames, people have the tendency to look to their leaders — not just for answers, but also for support. What’s a leader to do? How can we lead through situations that are out of our control, emotionally-distressing, and sometimes downright depressing?
In this talk we’ll explore some key principles to keep in mind — and actions to deliberately take — when leading through a lot of change and uncertainty, so that everyone gets out the other side not just intact, but also more resilient.
