Description

The talk narrates the path of design and construction of the first female UX community in Latin America and how, after co-creation sessions, was defined and started working on 5 mvps that are now the core projects of the community. These are: the monthy meetings, a women in UX interview, monthy workshops, mentoring program and an only UX women Directory.

About the speakers

Product and UX lead at Prey. Co-founder of +Mujeres en UX and creator Clipping UX. Member of IxDA Santiago. I love creating, thinking and building digital products with a UX approach. I enjoy collaborating with teams and developing communities around the User experience discipline.

Liliana Reyes

Liliana is the Head of Design, Technology and Business at Continuum, based in Chile. She’s also involved in several UX efforts:

  • IxDA Santiago, team lead
  • +Mujeres en UX, team lead
  • +Mujeres en UX, mentoring program

She leverages her team’s expertise in tech, design, strategy, and innovation to help customers succeed in challenging contexts. She coordinates and nurtures multi-disciplinary teams to make a tight strategy execution loop that help create better products and services. She uses her combined tech background and years of UX & Service Design experience plus managerial skills (from traditional project management to modern agile practices) and business knowledge.
