Imagining a world 100+ years from now requires us not just to dream, but to introspect, evaluate, and act based on holistic wisdom. While our historical understanding may be flawed or incomplete, the tools and knowledge we have today empower us to pave a path for a future that’s informed, inclusive, and intelligent. The decisions we make now, grounded in ethics and empathy, will echo into the centuries to come. The intersection of ethics, economy, and environment in our choices today will determine the trajectory of humanity’s future. When envisioning a world a century ahead, the gravity of our current decisions becomes even more palpable.
Over the last decade, Amani has worked at the intersection of finance, design, engineering, and product. Her career began on Wall Street and evolved one pivot at a time after I began helping startups get funded, learned to design and code (the hard way), taught UX workshops, strategically advised businesses, learned agile, started companies, founded agencies, and led product teams across various geographies, industries and disciplines. Overall, her experiences have produced deep acumen in how to effectively communicate product vision, establish UX design processes, cultivate UX as a business strategy, run agile teams, implement or migrate to modern technology stacks/tools and optimize cross-functional product team communication and collaboration.
Amani & Myles have a collective 35 years experience juggling the worlds of information architecture, design, business, and technology. However the future is unknown, but we can learn from the past. The objective of our collaboration is to inform, inspire and create meaningful dialog that lead to better questions helping us shape a more proactive and eventually predictive acknowledgement and ownership of the use of information and generative AI. Amani functions as a multi-disciplinary designer with a passion for travel, culture, comedy and innovation. Myles Washington III brings a collective 22 years of experience in the digital product space serving at the intersection of tech, business, and human-centered design. We both love good food and a solid soundtrack.
