Julie Cruz is currently a Master’s student (graduating in May) in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Michigan. She’s focusing her studies around UX design and communications. Julie recently completed a Content Strategy internship at Facebook where she refined and reshaped UI content across two product teams, including development of a mobile financial app. Before graduate school, she worked at the University’s School of Public Health where she helped build the school’s first research design accelerator, called the Innovation Studio.

Before entering the world of UX Design and Informatics, Julie studied her fair share of biochemistry, analytical chemistry, physics, and biology.
