Speaker

With a background in the humanities and library science, Dana Bublitz has always been fascinated with how we define and understand the world around us. She has worked in content strategy, UX design, and information architecture for over a decade, helping organizations of all shapes and sizes understand where user information needs and business goals intersect. Over her career she has worked in many complex spaces, which has honed her skills in navigating the political side of information design. She is currently a Senior Information Architect at Microsoft, where she has lead large-scale taxonomy and metadata initiatives and works to define platform-wide content strategies for Microsoft Learn.

Outside the IA field, Dana is an avid potter, glass worker, and photographer. She lives with her family on an island outside Seattle.
