Cheryl Stephens is a leader and innovator in the field of plain language communications.

After six years of practicing law, Cheryl Stephens found her calling as an educator, trainer, and consultant in legal communications and marketing. For more than twenty years, she has been writing, speaking, and teaching about plain language, helping clients to become more successful communicators using plain language principles. Cheryl is the author of several articles and books, including of Plain Language Legal Writing, and Plain Language In Plain English.

Cheryl’s work appears on governmental websites and in classrooms and businesses and professional offices.
