Theresa is a researcher and service designer who started her human-centered design career as a librarian before joining the IRS and becoming a founding team member of IRS Direct File. She values connecting directly with users to design with them and harnessing the power of research to figure out the right problems to solve.

Theresa lives in DC, where she tends a small jungle of houseplants and has made it her goal to pet every dog she meets.
