As a part of IAC25, we are excited to host a Design Jam with Code for Philly! Code for Philly is an organization of volunteers who use tech, data, and design as a mode of engagement. IAC participants are invited to collaborate in small groups to solve user experience challenges for one of two projects detailed below. 

Attendees of every discipline and experience level are welcome to join the design jam. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience solving challenges that will have real benefits for residents of Philadelphia.

Projects

PHLASK’s (pronounced “flask”) mission is to help people find publicly available sources of water, and to impel private enterprises to provide public access to their water infrastructure.

Benefit Decision Toolkit is a project that aims to make it easier to create public benefit eligibility assessments, to the point where it can be done by subject matter experts with little-to-no formal software coding training.
