As Chief Design Officer at Mad*Pow, Michael Hawley leverages his background in interaction design, usability, and design strategy to lead a diverse team of talented experience designers through the process of creating engaging, interactive experiences.

He is an active participant in the research and design management community, previously serving as past President of local chapter of the User Experience Professional’s Association (UXPA), and contributing as a speaker and mentor for IxDA, Design Management Institute (DMI), CHI, and Web Development groups. He holds an MS in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University Graduate School of Business, and a BA from the University of Michigan.
