A UX research leader at Morningstar, Inc., Kate Callahan is a lifelong Chicagoan, history enthusiast and architecture buff who studied urban historical archaeology (that’s a thing!) alongside human-computer interaction and design research. In her undergraduate program, she did her archaeological fieldwork on Chicago’s lakefront, which is a key element of the 1909 Plan of Chicago. She also has over a decade of work experience on major redesign efforts.
