Chad is a UX problem-solver with more than 20 years of experience in higher education. He’s been a reference librarian, user researcher, content strategist, manager, and taught classes on information retrieval. At the UNC Chapel Hill Library his team advocates for library users at all points of interaction – both online and in physical spaces. He untangles systems, optimizes processes, and helps library users get things done.

Chad holds a Masters of Library & Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Certificate in Technology and Communication from UNC Chapel Hill. He’s planned and run a number of professional conferences in Libraries and UX. He knows entirely too much about theme parks and enjoys falling off his paddleboard.
