Amber Lautigar Reichert

Amber Lautigar Reichert

Current role: Speaker

Amber Lautigar Reichert is the Director of Content Strategy in the Communications and User Experience department of the University of Virginia Library. She’s worked in non-profits, publishing, and IT, each time naturally gravitating toward activities that seek to understand real humans (UX) and meet them where they are (content strategy). She fell in with the brilliant, powerful, creative world of librarianship in 2015 and has never looked back.

With the UVA Library, Amber manages communications content by crafting information architecture, strategizing for critical messaging, and coordinating between content creators, Design, UX, and Development, to meet the needs of denizens of the University of Virginia. She attended James Madison University’s School of Media Arts and Design and completed her MLIS from Kent State University.
