Claire Wardle is an Associate Professor at Cornell University and a leading expert in misinformation, verification, and user-generated content. Previously, she led training at the BBC, directed social media policy at UNHCR, founded the non-profit First Draft, and held roles at Harvard and Columbia. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania.
