Come get your game on at Game Night!
WHEN: Thursday, April 23, 2019, 7:30PM to 10:30PM EDT

We’ll have 3 games to play.
- Codenames begins at 7:30pm. This is a word association game played in teams. Games take 20-30 minutes. Audio in discord. The game itself will be run through a web app (no login required)
- Spyfall begins at 8:00pm. This is a party game with subterfuge and laughter. Each round takes less than 10 minutes. Audio in discord. The game itself will be run through a web app (no login required)
- Kokoro begins at 8:30pm. This is a spatial puzzle game. Games take about 20 minutes. Audio in discord. The game is played on paper. I’ll share a PDF you can print. Or you can markup the PDF directly. I’ll livestream the other pieces and you’ll use that to make your decisions.
All games are easy to learn. There will be a host in each channel to teach and run the game.
It’s okay to show up late. Drop by, watch, and jump in for the next round. Each games can handle lots of players. We’re staggering start times to give folks more options so you don’t have to be there right at 7:30pm. The channels will run concurrently. So Codenames doesn’t need to end at 8pm when Spyfall starts up.
More game nights coming. We’ll do more of these. For some games we may need to use Zoom. For now we’re just going with Discord.
You can play your own games too. We’ll have open channels. So if you want to play something through BoardGameArena.com or some other site, find an open channel and get your friends and go for it. Maybe you bought Terraforming Mars on Steam. If you can find other players, you could livestream that through one of our open discord channels.
Discord is open 24/7. We will run “officially” scheduled games on specific days, at certain times, and with a host there to teach. But you can use the channels whenever you want.
