IAC21 will be using several different platforms to deliver workshops, main sessions, and social activities to registered attendees – Zoom, Remo, and Discord. As an IAC attendee you should have received invitations to join these platforms for scheduled events and after hours networking.

Zoom for workshops
Zoom has been chosen to support pre-conference workshops. Main sessions, live Q&As, and social events will all take place over Remo. To provide a place for those important virtual hallway conversations, we will also be using Discord. Put together, we hope to deliver you as close an experience to New Orleans as you can have without a basket of beignets, some jazz musicians, and hundreds of your closest friends in the same room.
Remo
Remo is a virtual conference environment that simulates the experience of being face-to-face in the same room. Despite not being able to physically meet each other in the hallways of New Orleans we can still share discoveries, insights, and interact with real experts in real time.
Discord
The best part of any IAC are the conversations in the hallway. Since we don’t have hallways to meet in we’ve chosen the next best thing – Discord. This tool allows conversations to continue after hours and across time zones. It also provides an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees beyond April 30th.
Support channels
Having trouble connecting to IAC21 events? We will do our best to help get you back online as quickly as possible. For fastest results, we recommend trying Discord.
Discord
To reach out to IAC21 volunteers for technical support, we have created a dedicated channel on Discord. Join #helpdesk to get the quickest response to any technical issues that you may be encountering.
If you are unable to connect to Discord, email info@theIAconference.com with your questions.
